Mayor Narine celebrates India’s 72nd Republic Anniversary

His Worship Pt Ubraj Narine, last evening, attended the reception to commemorate the 72nd Anniversary of the Republic of India at the National Cultural Centre hosted by the High Commissioner of India to Guyana, His Excellency Dr K J Srinivasa.

The event was addressed by President Irfaan Ali and other senior Government as well as Diplomatic officials. The commemorative event displayed the rich cultural heritage of India and recognized the contributions to Guyana.
