MCC Safe City Initiative – Chief Constable Gafur and Assistant Commissioner McBean visit Stabroek Car Park

Following yesterday’s engagement with Mayor Ubraj Narine and Acting Town Clerk Vanessa Simon-Brown, Assistant Commissioner Simon McBean with Chief Constable (ag) Virjanand Gafur were on the ground this morning assessing command and control points for deployment of ranks of the Guyana Police Force to assist the City Constabulary.

The City Constabulary and ranks of the Police Division 4A which spans from Cummings Lodge to Agricola are collaborating to increase their crime prevention and enforcement posture in the city.
