The Town Clerk is the administrative head of the Mayor & City Council and ultimately responsible for the following:

  • To act as the nodal agency for executing all of Council’s policy decisions
  • To ensure smooth liaison between the political and the executive arms of Mayor & City Council
  • Be the custodian of all statutory records required to be maintained by the Mayor & City Council
  • To implement and enable fair and compliant procedures for functioning of various departments
  • To ensure effective communication of Mayor & City Council programs and with internal and external stakeholders
