Mayor Alfred Mentore and Acting Town Clerk, Candace Nelson and City Engineer (ag) Kenson Boston visited the City’s pump station.
This visit was aimed at reviewing the functionality of the station and addressing any maintenance needs as part of the City’s ongoing infrastructure improvements.
During the visit, the team observed the current conditions of the pumps, including assessing their performance and identifying any immediate repairs or upgrades needed.
The Mayor emphasized the importance of maintaining essential services, particularly in management of the city sluice, which are crucial for the health and well-being of the people of Georgetown.
Mayor Mentore said the maintenance of our city’s pump stations is critical to ensuring uninterrupted service for our residents.
This visit is part of our proactive efforts to ensure that our infrastructure is in top condition to meet the needs of the growing City.
