The Mayor and Councillors of the City of Georgetown hereby invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement and delivery of the following:

1. One (1) Hauler Truck
2. Two (2) Dump Trucks

1. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal and District Council Act, Chapter 28:01.
2. A performance bond must accompany all bids for fifty percent (50%) of the bid sum.
3. Bids must be submitted in a plain sealed envelope bearing no identification of the bidder and each envelope should clearly state the date at the top left-hand corner and the words “Bid for Hauler Truck” or “Bid for Dump Trucks.” Electronic submissions are impermissible.
4. All bids must be deposited in the box at the Office of the Town Clerk at 121-123 Avenue of the Republic and Regent Street, Lacytown, Georgetown.
5. All bids close on June 27, 2024 at 10:00 hours.
6. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representative (s) and anyone who chooses to attend, in the Council Chamber, Kitty Market, on June 27, 2024 at 13:30 hours.
7. Late bids will be rejected and returned to bidders unopened.
