Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacant position of Grave Diggers (Cemetery Section) – City Engineer Department.
Nature of Scope of Position
- Dig graves as per specification (Earth Burials).
- Dig foundations to erect concrete tombs.
- Open and clean tombs to be reused.
- Assist in the exhumation of bodies (Dig up graves).
- Prepare and clean burial sites for burial.
- Any other duty that may be assigned.
Job Specification
- Sound Secondary School education.
- Able-bodied and possess the ability to handle use loose tool such as shovel, spade, pitch fork, etc.
- Willing to work beyond the normal working hours.
The successful candidate must be able-bodied, aged 18-44 years old and willing to work based on the scheduled operation of the City Engineer Department.
