Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacant positions of two (2) Clerk II General – City Public Health Department

Nature of Scope of Position

Under the direction of the Supervising Officer shall:

  • Type letters, memorandum, reports and other correspondence.
  • Prepare statistical tables, charts, graphs and other like documents.
  • Assist in maintaining the filling system.
  • Code and file documents.
  • Prepare requisition for office materials and supplies.
  • Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Specification

  • Four (4) subjects C.X.C. inclusive of English Language, Grades 1, 11 and 111

OR

  • Certificate in Industrial Relations and Social Studies from the Critchlow Labour College, plus two (2) subjects C.X.C.

OR

  • Ordinary Diploma in Commerce from the Government Technical Institute

                                                                  OR

  • Industrial Relations and Management from the University of Guyana – Institute of Distance and Continuing Education (UG-IDCE).
