Mayor Ubraj Narine meets GTT CEO Damian Blackburn

His Worship Pt Ubraj Narine this afternoon meet with GTT CEO Damien Blackburn on matters of interest to the Council.

Mayor Narine indicated that the Council has a number of innovative initiatives to serve the citizens of Georgetown that can benefit from collaborating with private sector entities. He stated that technology can improve service delivery and GTT has a track record of being innovative and supporting innovation. 

COO Orson Furguson stated that the company is committed to partnerships with the Council and providing solutions that can improve its efficiency and service delivery.

The Mayor committed to continuing the engagement with the technical partners as the two entities work together.
